You must be legally capable of entering into these Terms.

If you use SlideSpoken on behalf of a company, organization, school, or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

SlideSpoken is not intended for children under 13.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for:

  • providing accurate account information
  • maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials
  • maintaining control of your authentication methods
  • activity conducted through your account
  • promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized access

You may not share credentials in a manner that violates your plan or allows unauthorized users to access SlideSpoken.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content that you upload or provide to SlideSpoken.

This may include presentations, documents, images, text, prompts, training content, and other materials.

You grant SlideSpoken a limited, non-exclusive right to host, process, reproduce, transmit, transform, and display your content only as necessary to:

  • provide the service
  • operate requested AI features
  • generate presentations or reports
  • deliver presentations
  • process meeting or training sessions
  • maintain backups
  • secure and support the service

This license ends when the content is deleted, except where temporary backup copies or legally required records remain.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights necessary to upload and use your content.

5. AI-Generated Content

SlideSpoken uses artificial intelligence.

AI-generated content may:

  • contain factual errors
  • misunderstand context
  • provide incomplete answers
  • generate unexpected results
  • vary between sessions

You are responsible for reviewing important AI-generated content before relying on or distributing it.

SlideSpoken does not guarantee that AI-generated information is accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.

6. Presentations, Meetings, Recording, and Consent

Some SlideSpoken features may participate in meetings, process spoken questions, create transcripts, or otherwise process communications involving other people.

You are responsible for:

  • informing participants when required
  • obtaining any legally required consent
  • complying with recording and interception laws
  • complying with employer and organizational policies
  • ensuring you are authorized to use SlideSpoken in a meeting or event

SlideSpoken does not determine whether your particular meeting, recording, transcription, or AI use is lawful in your jurisdiction.

7. Acceptable Use

You may not use SlideSpoken to:

  • violate applicable law
  • infringe intellectual property rights
  • impersonate another person without authorization
  • distribute malware
  • gain unauthorized access to systems or accounts
  • interfere with the operation of SlideSpoken
  • bypass security, usage, billing, or access controls
  • conduct fraudulent activity
  • abuse or overload the service
  • generate or distribute unlawful content
  • use the service in a manner that violates the rights of others

We may restrict or suspend accounts involved in abuse, fraud, security threats, or material violations of these Terms.

8. Third-Party Services

SlideSpoken integrates with or depends on third-party technologies and platforms.

These may include meeting platforms, authentication providers, our Merchant of Record Paddle (for the sale of subscriptions and credits, invoicing, tax compliance, and refunds), AI providers, speech services, cloud infrastructure providers, and email services.

Your use of third-party services may also be subject to their own terms.

We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for outages, changes, restrictions, or actions taken by those providers.

9. Subscriptions, Credits, and Payments

Some SlideSpoken features require a paid subscription, credits, or other paid access.

Pricing, included usage, billing periods, credit allocations, and plan limits are displayed when you purchase or use the applicable service.

Payments for SlideSpoken are sold and processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd and its affiliates ("Paddle"), which acts as the Merchant of Record for these transactions. This means Paddle is the seller of record for your purchase, issues your invoice, collects any applicable sales tax or VAT, and handles billing enquiries, refunds, and chargebacks. Your purchase is therefore also subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms.

By purchasing a paid service, you authorize Paddle to charge the payment method you provide, on the billing frequency shown at checkout, until the subscription is cancelled.

You can cancel a subscription at any time. Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Refunds are handled by Paddle under its Refund Policy. See our Refund Policy at https://slidespoken.com/refund-policy for how to request one. Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory right of withdrawal, cancellation, or refund you may have under the consumer law of your own country.

We may change pricing or plan features prospectively. Material pricing changes will apply in accordance with the terms presented to you and applicable law.

10. Usage Limits

Plans may include limits relating to:

  • AI usage
  • presentation sessions
  • voice services
  • storage
  • meeting features
  • credits
  • other computing resources

You may not intentionally circumvent technical or contractual usage limits.

Temporary limits may also be applied to protect service stability or prevent abuse.

11. Intellectual Property

SlideSpoken and its software, branding, designs, interfaces, trademarks, documentation, and technology are owned by SlideSpoken or its licensors.

Except for rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.

You may not copy, reverse engineer, distribute, resell, or create unauthorized derivative versions of SlideSpoken except where applicable law expressly permits it.

12. Feedback

If you voluntarily provide ideas, suggestions, or feedback about SlideSpoken, we may use that feedback without restriction or compensation to improve our products and services.

13. Availability and Changes

We aim to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

SlideSpoken may occasionally experience:

  • maintenance
  • outages
  • provider failures
  • network issues
  • software errors
  • third-party service interruptions

We may modify features when necessary for security, product improvement, legal compliance, provider compatibility, or operational reasons.

14. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary because of:

  • material violation of these Terms
  • fraud
  • abuse
  • security threats
  • non-payment
  • unlawful activity
  • risks to other users or the service

You may stop using SlideSpoken at any time.

Account closure does not eliminate payment obligations already incurred.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SlideSpoken is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We do not guarantee that:

  • the service will always be available
  • every AI response will be correct
  • every presentation will be error-free
  • third-party integrations will always function
  • generated content will meet every user's requirements

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.

16. No Professional Advice

SlideSpoken may process or generate information related to business, education, finance, technology, or other subjects.

SlideSpoken does not provide legal, medical, financial, investment, or other regulated professional advice.

You are responsible for obtaining qualified professional advice where appropriate.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SlideSpoken will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities, goodwill, or data arising from your use of the service.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SlideSpoken's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to SlideSpoken for the applicable service during the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not permit certain exclusions or limitations, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

18. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold SlideSpoken harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from:

  • your unlawful use of SlideSpoken
  • content you upload without sufficient rights
  • your violation of these Terms
  • your violation of another person's rights
  • your failure to obtain required permissions or meeting participant consent

19. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy:

https://slidespoken.com/privacy

20. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to SlideSpoken's principal place of operation, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws require otherwise.

Any dispute will be handled in the competent courts having jurisdiction over SlideSpoken's principal place of operation unless applicable law requires another forum.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If we make material changes, we may notify users through SlideSpoken, email, or another appropriate method.
